Today, our Region 1 (DDCD – Dumdum Cantonment Durganagar, Kolkata) successfully conducted an impactful ORS water distribution drive in the Dumdum Cantonment area, showcasing the true spirit of community service.

During this intense summer, when the sun blares down and many people are hesitant to even step outside their homes due to the sweltering heat, our dedicated volunteers went above and beyond to serve the community. They took it upon themselves to ensure that those struggling to cope with the rising temperatures received the necessary hydration. Volunteers tirelessly distributed free ORS packets and chilled drinking water to commuters and pedestrians near the railway station, playing a crucial role in helping them stay hydrated and safe from the heat-related adversities.

Leading this remarkable initiative was one of our most experienced volunteers, Shubham, whose commitment and passion for serving the community have always inspired others. We would also like to extend special appreciation to our new volunteer, Ayushman, for his outstanding contribution and enthusiasm that greatly enhanced our efforts. Furthermore, a heartfelt shoutout goes to Amrit, who has, as always, remained actively involved in our activities, demonstrating the essence of teamwork and camaraderie.
