Bridge Coalition of Rational Thinking or in short B.C.R.T (Reg. No. IV-190200862/2025) is a registered all India NGO trust that emerged from Dum Dum Cantonment, Kolkata.
It was officially founded on 5th February 2024 by four visionary founders; Pronil Halder, Srinjoy Dutta, Sayan Ananda Sengupta, and Debosmita Mondal. On 6th June, B.C.R.T was registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882.
We were established with the goal of uniting individuals who align in rational thinking; people who do not associate themselves with any religion. With a strong emphasis on reason-based analysis, we want to build a fact-centric society, the opposite of faith-centric society.

Long-Term Vision
We emerged as a non-political platform with the aim of uniting individuals with fact-centric perspective and lifestyle.
Our long-term goals are to
- Create an organisation of people where the concept religion/caste/race is non-existant.
- Shift broad Indian society’s primary focus to science and development and away from dividing powers.
- Develop rational temperament.
- Protect rational people from extremism.
- Turn into a society from trust.
- Become an FCRA approved NGO.
- Enter into political plane to create strong policies to promote rationalism and abolish dogma.

The Need for Rationalism
In today’s modern world, marked by technological advancements and global connectivity, the need for rational thinking is more crucial than ever.
The persistence of superstition, caste discrimination, racism, and unscientific beliefs highlights the urgent necessity of promoting rational thought.
Rationalism serves as a foundation of resistance against superstitions and discriminatory ideologies. It encourages social inclusion, equality, and intellectual freedom; all grounded in logic and evidence.
Through various initiatives, we actively promote rationalism and contribute to the positive transformation of Indian society. By doing so, we aim to inspire future generations to build a prosperous future based on reason, equality, and ethics.
