Bridge Coalition of Rational Thinking (Reg. No. IV-190200862/2025, formerly locally known as Bengal Council of Rational Thinking) is a registered NGO trust that emerged from Dum Dum Cantonment, Kolkata.
It was officially founded on 5th February 2024 by four visionary founders — Pronil Halder, Srinjoy Dutta, Sayan Ananda Sengupta, and Debosmita Mondal. On 6th June, B.C.R.T was registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882. Currently, B.C.R.T is run by the core trustees Pronil Halder, Srinjoy Dutta, Samyabrata Sarka and Subhajit Das.
The organization was established with the goal of uniting individuals who believe in rational thinking. With a strong emphasis on reality-based analysis, it strives to build a society where rationalism and the exchange of ideas are given utmost priority.
